If you are not aware, Al Gore has bee positioning himself for an Independent run at the White House. His comments of late ..seem to be veiled allusions to this possibility. He has used his recent status as a Nobel Peace prize winner to garner media and what he thinks, I am sure, to be new interest in a presidential run. To sweeten the pot for a new bid is the fact that he would have the opportunity to defeat the Clinton's, who seemed to have soured on their relations with Gore after the 2000 elections. Gore has been seeking for quite some to reestablish himself as a major player behind the scenes and the Nobel Prize is seen as his new coming out party. If he can pull this off - he will have come full circle in the political world. I doubt that he wil. But since I am a Republican, one can only hope. RUN GORE RUN!
