Get ready Mitt fans ..your hero who looks forward to the day when all gays and lesbians can hold their heads high in the military will be making a speech this Thursday. This Has NOTHING to do with his poll numbers. He will garner quite a few of the "hey I am not a bigot" guilt vote...because we all know that if we as voters use any other criteria than good hair to determine our vote, that is off limits and "bigoted". How I wish Tom Cruise were running for President. We would all be subjected to body branding with the B word that Hugh loves to use so much IF we dared take into consideration Tom & Katy's new religion. THE VOTER CAN PUT THE CANDIDATE TO ANY TEST THEY WANT- TO DETERMINE YOUR VOTE FOR SOMEOME BASED ON THEIR RELIGION OR LACK THEREOF IS PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE-THAT IS DEMOCRACY. There are atheists who put irrreligious tests on candidates just as much as voters put religious tests on them and that is their right!
Once again Mitt's religion is the least of his worries. The fact that he is percieved as a fast talking flip flopper would KILL him in the general elections. But because of the nature of this speech he will get additional air time from ALL of the major networks at no cost...and take away valuable air time from his underfunded rival Mike Huckabee. (By the way when Mitt says he changed his mind just like Reagan did on Abortion there is a HUGE difference as far as information is concerned. It was a new issue during Reagan's day and they did not have the clarity which information provide... medical advances and pictures of the child in the womb..etc etc...really weak excuse Mitt.
